About Drug Education and Prevention Services
Our drug education and prevention program provides an opportunity for occasional drug users who are facing legal proceedings and wish to substitute their sentence by participating in the program, provided that the legal conditions are met based on the assessment of their case.
If someone commits a minor drug-related offence involving only a small amount of drugs for personal use, and they participate in a continuous drug education program for at least six months, they will not be convicted. Therefore, drug education and prevention serves as an alternative to criminal prosecution, offered by the authorities (police, court, prosecutor’s office) to the offender.
At the end of the six-month process, if the individual provides documentation confirming the completion of the program, their case must be dismissed, and no criminal conviction or sentence will be imposed.
What is the process of drug education and prevention?
The drug education and prevention program is primarily a self-awareness-oriented activity, conducted in the form of individual or group consultations, led by qualified social workers.
The group consists of 5-6 participants. During the group session, under the guidance of our professionals, we focus on one topic, engaging in open discussions.
At the end of the six-month process, the professional overseeing the work will issue a certificate, which must be presented to the authorities handling the case, officially closing the criminal proceedings.
Drug education and prevention – Practical information
The duration of the drug education and prevention program is a minimum of 6 months, with a total of 12 sessions. You can attend twice a month, every two weeks.
No more than 30 days can pass between sessions, as this would result in the interruption of your drug education and prevention program, and you would need to start the process over.
After the first session, we provide an official certificate confirming the start of the drug education and prevention process, which must be submitted to the authorities handling the case.
At the end of the process, after 12 sessions, we will issue a certificate of completion for the program. If you submit this to the authorities, they will close the ongoing proceedings against you.

If all the documents are in order, we will sign a contract, and you can begin the program.
